The Legend of Hoshiro

The Legend of Hoshiro is my second long work of Touhou fan fiction, a comedy retelling of every Touhou game through the eyes of Hoshiro Nijinazuma, a fearless dragon maiden who wishes to be a great Incident-Resolver. Hoshiro can punch down trees and cast lightning made of rainbows, and somehow she gets everything wrong...

While primarily a comedy, Hoshiro's adventures see her grapple with her weaknesses and anxiety while she tries to find her place in Gensokyo. Touhou is set in a world of strange and powerful women, but Hoshiro, lovelorn, error-prone and hopelessly well-meaning as she is, still struggles to fit in.

Summary

Sent from the heavens, wielding rainbows and lightning in the name of peace and justice, Hoshiro Nijinazuma is Gensokyo's greatest warrior. Her decision-making skills, however, leave a lot to be desired.

Joined by like-minded friends, laughed at or reluctantly put up with by heroines from throughout the series, Hoshiro will fight her way through Touhou history and get every Incident completely wrong. What hilarious mishaps await her? Will she find love? The answers ("lots of them" and "maybe") lie within...
